Today is the day to go out and eat a croissant because it's La Fête Nationale!
That's right kids, today is the 223rd anniversary of the disgruntled and starving French doing the thing that started at The French Revolution (and according to some reports really upset the seven remaining prisoners in the Bastille) and the unfortunate reign of terror the followed. But the important thing is that it all worked out in the end. So celebrate the good things and have some Champagne!
