Today is the 12th day of July, and according to recent history it is the 50th anniversary of The Rolling Stones/s first performance ( as The Rollin' Stones) at The Marquee Club. 50 years on they are still going... and going... and going...
According to no-so-recent history it is also the birthday of Gaius Julius Caesar. If immortality were a thing and history was significantly different he would be turning 2111 today. And before everyone gets all confused, there is no year 0 in between 1BC and 1AD. Which confuses lots of people, myself included, but there you are.
Congratulations Rolling Stones and Happy Birthday Caesar!
